Patrick Blanc Unveils New Vertical Garden at the Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom Stilwerk

The opening of Jean Nouvel’s latest project, Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom Stilwerk [4] has been met with much fanfare, and as we read through the reviews [5] we saw another famous name that caught our eye. Vertical garden visionary Patrick Blanc also lent his skills to the project, creating a green wall for the building that includes 20,000 species of plants. Mr. Blanc’s studio was kind enough to send us these pictures of the completed work. Enjoy!
