Inspired by the disjunctions seen in the world around us, Pete Goldlust is using these colorful sticks of wax to express his views on the state of existence in the form of meticulously carved crayon sculptures. With such creative names as “Evita” and “Self Portrait of a Foot Massager”, Goldlusts’ intricate pieces are as steeped in nuanced meaning as they are a feast for the eye.
