Peugeot Reveals Hybrid SXC Concept Before Shanghai Motor Show

The Peugeot SXC Concept is designed to appeal to the growing number of Chinese buyers who purchase crossover vehicles, blending a Peugeot [11] floating grille with fluid body lines and a solid low-to-the-ground stance, as well as a two-part panoramic roof.
The electric [12] motor runs the back wheels and can work alone for rear-wheel-drive electric mode or in tandem with the engine, which runs the front wheels. This clever setup allows the driver to choose between road-holding all-wheel drive or super-efficient rear-wheel drive, while getting a combined average of 41 miles per gallon.
