Visitors to the High Line this week might think they’re on shrooms when bombarded with these colorful blow up mushrooms, lollipops and snowmen, but we promise you that isn’t the case (at least for most people). The candy-colored wonderland was installed by Miami-based art collective FriendsWithYou together with AOL in order to ring in the highly anticipated opening of Section 2 of the High Line in high fashion! Called Rainbow City, the installation transforms the parking lot right underneath the elevated park at 30th Street into a fun-filled, interactive space for everyone to enjoy, and enjoy we did. Check out our exclusive pics here.
