One of the biggest challenges of building a sustainable future is figuring out how to efficiently move people and objects from one place to another. Electric cars and biofuel-powered planes might be the answer in the short-term, but now a physicist at Tohoku University in Japan has figured out how to teleport energy from one point in the universe to another.
The energy teleportation technique is based upon research that shows it’s possible to teleport information from one location to another. According to MIT, “The process of teleportation involves making a measurement on each one [of] an entangled pair of particles. He points out that the measurement on the first particle injects quantum energy into the system. He then shows that by carefully choosing the measurement to do on the second particle, it is possible to extract the original energy.
Heady stuff, but essentially it means that you can inject energy at one point in the universe and extract it from somewhere else without changing the energy of the system as a whole.
Realistically, this doesn’t have any practical implications right now — it will remain in the realm of theories about quantum mechanics — but it’s fun to imagine what it could eventually lead to. Human teleportation? Quick transportation of aid to places that need it immediately (ie Haiti)? What do you think — could teleportation be the ultimate green technology?

Sounds like a future cornerstone of green energy practices. Wind and solar farms could be placed anywhere (the middle of the Pacific, for example) and the energy they produce could be teleported wherever it was needed – and with 100% efficiency! Sounds like science fiction, and it probably is, but this would truly revolutionize human civilization as we know it.
Quantum mechanics (and physics in general) is ,in my opinion, ahead of its age.
yet I hope for a better future….
The applications of this wondrous(and in only in theory to date .unfortunately) technology will boost the human civilization growth (either by peaceful or by destructive means) significantly…

As per him, this is just a quantum level phenomenon and energy transfer beyond that level is so small that even communication isn’t possible, teleporation of energy to space rovers is a far far ……… cry.

As per him, this is just a quantum level phenomenon and the energy available beyond that level is so small that even communication isn’t possible. Next, the classical channel is an integral part of the system and “faster-than-light” communication is even THEORETICALLY NOT POSSIBLE.
