If you’re a Shigeru Ban fan living in NYC, we urge you to head down to check out the starchitect’s newest work, the Camper shoe store in SoHo. The design is decidedly “Ban,” and features a pitched cardboard tube roof that looks a lot like the Christchurch Cathedral’s, except flattened out to blend better into its urban surroundings. And if you’re a BAN-atic living in another city, don’t fret. We’ve got a whole photo gallery of pics of the curious new retail space, so don’t miss them.
