Diet pills aren’t just for Hollywood starlets anymore. Apparently babies are jumping on the bandwagon by getting a head start on their slim figures in the WOMB. In an effort to prevent obesity through the stages of development, the pill metformin is being prescribed to pregnant mamas worried about their baby’s excess weight. British doctor, Dr. Hassan Shehata, thinks that by giving metformin to overweight mothers, this could help prevent fat babies.
