PK Steel Designs creates contemporary furniture out of recycled steel, but they wanted to take the sustainability of their operation one step further. The Missouri-based company recently began using 100% recycled plastic to make tabletops and panels that are both stylish and durable. The 1-inch-thick plastic is called “Origins” and it is made from multi-colored recycled bottles, which give it its unique speckled look.
