Designer Diaz Adisastomo was shocked to see how many license plates were going to waste in Indonesia, the country where he lives. He decided to give them new potential by turning them into something fresh – stylish CD holders! Called “Plattern,” his rebirthed creations start with two re-used aluminium license plates bent into geometic shapes. Diaz retains the numbers, giving his CD storage a unique appeal.
