The enormous 22′ by 15′ feat is made from over 3,500 apples. Lefebvre bought a few crates of deer apples, which are not edible by humans, and got to work. Using a 2′ x 2′ grid system and a portrait of Steve Jobs [1] that appeared on the cover of Time [2] magazine to loosely guide his creation, the project took between 40 and 50 hours to complete. It has received much attention and remains in tact for now. The apples will likely eventually be consumed by the orchards three resident deer.
