POSCH BAGS

POSCH [5] is a line of tote bags [6] created by Montreal designer Luce Beaulieu [7] out of reclaimed fabric. She designs the bags to minimize waste and maximize style. I spotted them on the sustainable style group [8] and was immediately smitten by not just the bag’s design [9], but also the bright presentation.
They won an honorable mention last year at the first Canadian Sustainable Design Competition called “Closing the Loop” and were part of the first Canadian delegation of sustainable and ethical fashion to participate in the Ethical Fashion Show [10] last October in Paris. A testament to their simple, but appealing design, POSCH completely sold out at 2006 ICFF’s DesignBoom Mart. Get your’s here [5].
