The Deep South seems like an unlikely source of inspiration for a UK-based designer, but leave to an ex-pat to infuse that other fashionable island across the pond with a fresh breath of southern hospitality. Born and raised in Tennessee, designer Jeff Garner [1] turned Prophetik’s [2] Spring 2011 line at London Fashion Week [3] into a collection of epic pre-war pieces, calling upon Botticelli’s Venus, but with a much more wearable, modern twist.
