		<description>The city gets money from those parking spots, yes?  With the loss of parking, that would mean a loss of meter and parking tickets proceeds.  With the removed parking, would this also not mean the need for more parking garages?  Imagine being one of the business along this route and knowing that a potential customer can no longer park near you.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m all for supporting safety for cyclists.  Unfortunately I believe that we need to have safety from cyclists first.

If the city is willing to require that cyclists need to be licensed, pay registration fees, obey the traffic laws, and require the police to enforce traffic laws for cyclists the I&#039;ll support this.

Otherwise I&#039;d rather have cyclists banned from the streets totally.

Seems pretty simple.  Let&#039;s have an egalitarian society and respect each other&#039;s rights and safety.</description>
