Gallery: QisDesign’s Aurelia LED Lamp Looks Like a Mesmerizing Underwat...

This glowing Aurelia lamp from QisDesign caught our eye at New York's ICFF this weekend, particularly for its uncanny resemblance to a beautiful floating jellyfish! The LED table lamp was inspired by its namesake — the bulbous underwater Aurelia Moon Jellyfish — and the Taiwan-based studio have captured a sense of the creature's tranquility in their design. The Aurelia lamps incorporate energy-efficient LED bulbs into the elegant curved shade to create a a vibrant, translucent glow.

This mesmerizing lamp has a curved shade which hides away the LEDs embedded within it, which reflect directly onto the inner shade’s strips to emit a warm and colorful glow. Complete with a three-way “touch-ring” dimmer to support easy luminosity adjustment, the low-energy design casts an ambient light evoking the serenity of the deep-sea.
