Gallery: Quirky Seed-Sprouting Paper Pulp Faces Are the Creepiest Way t...

Formed from recycled paper pulp and filled with organic sprouting seeds, the faces are a fun and super easy way to get into gardening.

We’ve seen lots of quirky gardening ideas here at Inhabitat, but these sprouting seed faces are one of the strangest concepts we’ve come across. Formed from recycled paper pulp filled with organic sprouting seeds, the faces are a fun and easy way to get into gardening. All you do is soak the seeds in water for an hour, place them in a pot of soil, and voila – little sprouts will emerge from each paper pulp head. Designed by Kelsey Pike at Sustainable&Handmade, the heads are available in kits that include a variety of faces and they’re priced at $7 for 25 and $3 for 10.
