Gallery: Real-Life Snow Globe Used to Test Energy-Efficient House


British researchers are using a real-life snowglobe to make sure that an energy-efficient home can withstand the seasons. The so-called “energy house” is currently being built inside an artificial weather shell that can generate humidity, snow and rain — essentially all of the weather elements a real house would be subject to.
