There are all sorts of innovative designs out there for USB drives, but this intriguing design by Wonchul Hwang packs a micro memory drive into a rechargeable AA battery. Whenever the battery runs out of juice, simply plug it into your computer and it will automatically recharge.
When the memory stick is plugged into a computer, it recharges in USB mode allowing it to be then placed in any AA-battery device. While it is an innovative design, there are some questions – how many devices these days use just a single AA battery? What if you need your data while the battery is in your remote control? And what if the battery overheats – do you lose your data?! It’s a cool design, but its actual use in the real world is debatable.
