A lamp grows in Brooklyn – well at least this one did. The Branch Lamp, which we spotted at the Model Citizens [1] showcase during New York Design Week [2], is made of an actual branch that fell during the tornado that struck NY last year. Designed by Harris Hine for Reclaiming Brooklyn [3], the thought-provoking fixture consists of a series of metal shims, a spun aluminum shade, and a cord, which can actually be customized and placed on any piece of found wood.
