Wellington, NZ-based artist Michelle Whale found a new use for old, outdated business cards with her beautiful Last Light Lamp [1]. Created for Active Architecture ltd [2], the recycled lampshade [3] is made from 230 business cards – and they can even be made to order from personal business cards or stock material. We recommend fitting it with an energy-efficient LED bulb to keep temperatures and power use low.
