Regina, Q, and Swift: Suzuki Will Bring Entirely New Lineup of EVs to the Tokyo Motor Show

Suzuki ^[6] is the latest automaker to begin planning entire lineups of alternative energy vehicles ^[7] and showing them off at auto shows ^[8]. For this year's upcoming Tokyo Motor Show ^[9], the automaker is building its entire display around "small cars for a big future," with fuel cell and electric compact cars and motorcycles in a variety of designs. So far we're really loving the Regina, Q, and Swift EVs that Suzuki is planning to unveil at the event. Hit the jump for a preview.

Keep an eye out for the rest of the alternative fuel line ^[10] from Suzuki, including quite a few options on two wheels. We will be watching all the green goings on in Tokyo in early December when the show opens, so be sure to tune in for more of what’s to come in the future of green automotive. As more automakers embrace the eco movement this year, we expect the auto show season to be a very busy and eco-friendly one. Mark 2011 as the year auto shows became relevant to the tree hugger in all of us.
