Even with Google Map’s new charging station finder, locating a place to plug-in your EV could still present a problem if you’re out on the open road. So if you’re afraid of being left out cold with no way to juice your car up in sight, then you may just want to take a gander at what Renault is offering to its EV buyers. The company has just announced their “Get You Home” campaign, which will ensure that you never get stuck down a dark alley with a dead battery under your hood.

Renault will provide you with a loaner while they recharge your dead auto’s battery – but not without restrictions, of course. The offer is only good for ‘uncontrollable circumstances’ like inclement weather or heavy traffic, but in any case, the new plan should offer some added peace of mind to anyone who is a part of their fleet.
