Regarding the Mimosa plant mentioned in the article. I thought readers would like to know that this plant moves on its own when darkness approaches,in cold temperatures, extreme heat and when touched. My students love growing this plant year round indoors and out in our school garden in summer. I will have my students design structures based on the plants movements as indicated in this article. If you or your students have never grown this amazing plant you can see videos and get kits and seeds to grow your own at www.mimosaseeds.com
