Researchers Find Disturbing Link Between BPA Exposure and Liver Cancer in Mice

You might think that Bisphenol A (BPA) is a worry of the past, especially since those BPA-free label has popped up on everything from water bottles to tupperware. But unfortunately, this dangerous synthetic compound hasn’t been completely eradicated from our everyday products and exists in items from cash register receipts to canned food linings. Even worse? A recent study shows a disturbing link between BPA exposure and liver tumors. The research, which was carried out on rodents, found that mice exposed to large doses of BPA were 7 times more likely to have liver tumors than the control group.
