Gallery: Tonke Fieldsleeper: Tiny Home Hits the Road With Retro Flair

This is tiny living at its best!

Unlike large American RVs, the Tonke camper is handmade in a small workshop and can be separated from the van so that it’s unnecessary to tow an additional vehicle. This also affords extra freedom while traveling, since the camper can be left behind while the van goes on excursions. Plus it is smaller, more like an Airstream, yet boasts all of the comforts of a modern home – either stationary or moving.

The bed is 63 inches wide and the kitchen, which has a stove and fridge and can even fit an oven if required, is 59 inches wide. The living area sleeper can be converted into a guest bed, making the roaming home comfortable for three. There’s plenty of storage area under the bed, but if you need more, Tonke customizes each van to suit individual needs. Roll on.
