So, we know you’ve read a lot about sustainable design and development here at Inhabitat. Now here’s [5] a chance to propose your ideas for how design and technology can transform the urban environment, and angle for some prize money in the process.
RE:Vision [5] is a newly launched international competition which aims to create “the prototype for an innovative, sustainable urban community.” Sponsored by Stacey Frost, founder and owner of Archiventure [6], this series of five contests spaced over the next year will solicit the best ideas in energy, transportation, commerce, community design, and architecture.
The first competition, RE:Volt [7], begins later this month and asks entrants to explore intelligent energy solutions for the urban environment. Log onto the competition website [5] for full contest details and registration information.
