I assume the artist has either specified a less harmful formulation of epoxy resin, and one which is fully copolymerised, so that the monomers generally used such as BPA, a well-known endocrine disruptor, and epichlorohydrin, a carcinogen, aren't being released into your home environment and bioaccumulating over the years.

But otherwise, what a great way to store up all those hazardous chemicals to keep in your home environment until the e-waste systems are capable of processing it effectively, at which point you just mail your furniture off to be dealt with.
