Gallery: ROPE ME Interiors Made From 100% Recycled Materials Unveiled D...

Zona Tortona showcases unique, outside-the-box thinking every year during Milan Design Week – and few designers exemplify this better than Italy’s IDI Studio. A keen user of FSC certified wood, this charming design studio showed off several cool interiors at Milan Design Week earlier this month, but we were particularly enamored with the firm’s ROPE ME series, which is made from 100-percent recycled materials.

IDI Studio’s ROPE ME series evoke maritime scenes, as they are built with rustic recycled timber and finished with genuine marine rope. These conscientious pieces come in three finishes, including a mixed light pastel, a mixed dark pastel and a mixed brown. Completely earth- and sea-friendly, they would make an especially perfect addition to any shabby chic cottage or tiny house.

Cute. My mom would love that since she’s a big fan of recycling. I on the other hand like more modern designs though. I’d love to see recyled materials tuned into modern and sleek looking furnitures. so far i just know of refubished chairs (which in a way is recycling? like’s chairs)
