All of the materials used were salvaged from industrial waste and during site excavation.
Situated in scrublands and surrounded by mountains, Estudio Cinco consists of a groundfloor gallery and five studios on the second floor. Despite a small budget of only €70,500, the designers took their cue from the enveloping mountain peaks and Popocateptl Volcano to create a rough-hewn space that provides unhindered views and inspiration. Funding for this remarkable studio is maintained by a public cafe on the ground floor.

I wish that one of the photos showed that great view the was touted. I’d like to see Popocateptl, which I’ve observed puffing away on a flight that passed over that area. Maybe another time!
