Gallery: Ryan Klinger’s Conserve Cutlery Doesn’t Waste an Inch of Mater...

Disposable cutlery isn’t something that we like to see tossed into the trash can, but impermanent utensils still have a place in some circumstances. Ryan Klinger‘s, Conserve Cutlery is a stackable and sustainable cutlery solution for disaster relief situations. Klinger’s concept focuses on reducing waste by nesting each spork and knife closely together create an easily stackable, compact and portable sheet that reduces carbon emissions all around. Here’s hoping the final product is made from a bio-degradable material!

You know, with a headline like “doesn’t waste an inch”, you’d expect NOT to see a photo of raw materials with a bunch of holes punched in them. I’m not talking perforations, I’m talking about where the fork (spork?) is cut out.
