Schneider Electric Unveils Two-Car Electric Vehicle Charger

Schneider Electric [4] recently revealed a two-car electric vehicle charger [5] for use outdoors, giving way to faster and more efficient charging of fleets and electric vehicles [6] on the go. The new dual EV [6] charger can be either pedestal- or wall-mounted, and there is an indoor version of the product available that costs less than $1,000. As electric vehicle chargers are hard to come by in most areas of the country, we love the idea of having more ports available where there are chargers and cutting down wait time.
What we love most about this new product is that Schneider [7] is helping customers install them after purchase. The Schneider website points consumers to certified “EcoXperts” for installation and offers a warranty on the installation–24 months if an EcoXpert does the install, and 18 months if you pick your own contractor.
