Gallery: Scribble Pendant Lamp Beams a Subtle Light Out from Behind 256...

Casting a subtle light the lamps give off an atmospheric glow by beaming light between the pencils.

Made from 256 pencils, Jennifer Huang’s Scribble Pendant Lamp is as quirky as it is stunning. A charming alternative to a regular lamp, Huang’s designs are a decorative adaptation of the everyday light fixture. Inspired by her classroom surroundings at the Edgewood Elementary School, the sculptural lamp is composed of a multitude of the classic Ticonderoga Envriostil pencils. Casting a subtle light, the lamps provide an atmospheric glow by beaming light between the pencils. A finalist in out Bright Ideas Lighting Design Competition, if you love the Scribble as much as we do, show your support and vote for Huang’s design here!
