Simple, organic, and elegant, the Gina Lamp from Seascape is made from supple green materials like woven grass and bamboo. It’s a simple design that would dress up many a bedside table. We love both the natural materials and the way the light shines through it with soft organic elegance.
That is nice. It reminds me of those Pottery Barn catalogs that look like they were shot in a New England beach cottage. Very airy and light and natural.
Just a shame people can’t be a little more creative! Maybe an interesting material, but the lamp doesn’t make any any more use of it than a lamp from my grandmother’s bedroom – which is fine, but nothing to crow about…
I have to slightly disagree with you Daniel
because, frequently, cutting edge design is so far ahead that it makes little or no impact.
It’s much more likely a significantly greater number of people will purchase this lamp simply because its design is “standard / main stream” … with the [presumably] more sustainable materials used being an added extra for the planet
