There are over 7,500 tomato species in the world, yet most people only buy and eat what the local supermarket has to offer — which isn’t much at all. To address this issue, Sebastiaan Sennema (Studio Harvest) created the Seed Savour – an eco-friendly starter kit for growing your own food, supporting biodiversity, and sharing seeds with other people.
Seed Savour was Sebastiaan Sennema’s final project during his time at the renowned Design Academy of Eindhoven. It consists of a coconut seedling tray, a bamboo spade, organic compressed soil and a screw-on head that turns any PET bottle into a watering can. The kit also comes with Heirloom seeds for growing unique veggies that support food independence.

These are beautifully designed kits. Growing with heirloom seeds is incredibly rewarding for the taste buds and cooking inspiration.
