A team of scientists and engineers led by Dr. Dennis Weyland and Peter Detzner is proposing a new approach for urban mobility that aims to revolutionize public transportation. In short, itis a shared on-demand transportation service using electric vehicles. The whole concept is based on state-of-the art research and technologies. It can be seen as a replacement for conventional public transportation services, but in the long run it would also make private vehicles obsolete. According to scientific studies this approach is able to reduce emissions by up to 91%, traffic by 73% and cost by 44%, while providing full mobility at the same time. The team is currently working on the realization of SEEMO as a pilot project. To fund this project, SEEMO has started a crowdfunding campaign. It is possible to support the project until March 16.
