As the creative bridge between the natural enrvironment and the man-made world, gardens have inspired artists, writers and philosophers throughout history. Celebrating the very idea of ‘the garden’, London's Serpentine Gallery will host a Garden Marathon next weekend, continuing the success of their garden themed Gallery Pavillion, which opened earlier this year. This two day event will take place inside a temporary geodesic dome, packed with diverse talks and engaging art installations all about the significance of the garden and our relationship to it.
