Designer Seung Han Lee’s Cultural Chair is an elegant recycled seat that explores the difference between eastern and western cultures. Its colorful composite form is made from a mixture of recycled newspaper and rice glue. According to the designer: “The difference between East and West interests me greatly. In particular how the difference in perception leads to a different understanding of objects and a difference in approach to design.”
