Solar City, after taking the San Francisco's handouts, decided not to hold up their part of the bargain and kept all of the money and simply hired other workers, blaming it on the recession. I'm guessing that this new Energy Watch program is another one of Newsom's common tactics of jumping on the bandwagon and riding someone else's coat tails, just like the Healthy San Francisco thing. God, when are people going to realize that Newsom is HATED by most San Franciscans and it's not him doing all these great things for the city, but it's the actual citizens who are lobbying behind great causes.
