Rainwater harvesting , recycled materials , green roofs , renewable energy and energy efficiency are common elements in a number of the pavilions at the 2010 Shanghai Expo. Additionally, all of the pavilions are focused around the theme of “Better City, Better Life” and seek to make the world a better place. During the 5 months of the Expo, many public events, concerts, exhibitions, festivals and other cultural activities will take place. More than 190 countries and more than 50 international organizations are participating in the Expo in one way or another, and 100 million visitors are expected to visit, which officials expect to be the largest in history. We sure wish we could be there.
