Shigeru Ban is always great. This design comes close to what I hope he’d do… which is to design a dwelling unit which is an ‘erector set for adults’. A self-assemble design that could be structurally based on Bucky Fuller’s ‘Octet truss’ (for ‘posts’ & ‘beams’), yet still rectangular, a flat roof, with panelized exterior & interior skins… and very inexpensive. It’s always a pleasure to view one of Mr. Bans designs. Thanks.
