I would love to have a robot not only in my old age but right now! The fact of the matter is that if you can design a robot that can do many of the tedious household chores that I hate like the laundry, dishes and vacuuming, which I'm sure we have already all seen the vacuuming robot, why would you not want it. Actually I just saw a great video the other day explaining some of the technologies that go into these types of helper robots. It's pretty interesting. I'll post a link if you would like to see it for yourself. I feel like the piece of mind you would get with having these types of robots look after the elderly would provide priceless piece of mind as well. http://www.ndep.us/a-flock-of-robots I disagree.
