Forrest Fulton’s Sky Lantern Tower is futuristic skyscraper that lifts passengers 300 meters high while keeping material and energy use to a minimum. Based on the Taiwanese tradition of releasing floating lanterns into the sky, the concept replaces energy-sucking elevators with four helium passenger balloons. The building would also provide clean energy to Taichung using multiple high-altitude wind turbines located at the apex of the structure.
