		<description>Innovation is a good thing - over engineering isn&#039;t - simplicity and cost need to be considered.

Run of the mill competitive go karts easily reach 60mph and depending on the power plant, most won&#039;t use more than 1/2 to 1 gallon in a competitive day at an event.  

And the use of common materials to construct a go-kart makes them affordable to more people.  Exotic materials and no real resistance to contact make this a nice show piece, but not useful for racing, or even much use for just a play day at a track.  One off and things look like they would be broken.</description>

		<description>Only 60 MPH?  That is slow compared to the 125 and 150cc karts at the race track.  What is the ride time on those batteries?  Can they last 15 laps in a final heat?

I love the look, but question of distance is even more important in such a small kart where you cannot stuff it with innumerable batteries.</description>
