This solar powered flower lamp is a multifunctional design created for public spaces. The biomorphic design is inspired by flora found in nature – the “leaves” of the lamp have been fashioned with solar panels that can be easily adjusted to meet the sun’s position for optimal energy gathering. The fixture not only produces energy that can be redirected to the grid, but it also functions as an attractive street lamp at night with seating. Each lamp is also equipped with outlets, and the stored energy can used by pedestrians to quickly recharge their electronic devices on the go.
