These wacky Solar Night Flowers are one of the stranger things I’ve seen in awhile – and I love them in all their surreal eco-weirdness. Like a cross between tacky plastic restaurant flowers and high-tech LEDs – Solar Night Flowers are solar-powered, glowing plastic flowers which harness the energy of the sun during the day to illuminate your garden or patio at night. They require no electricity, and are designed for all weather conditions. Best yet, this fun bit of kitschy, sparkly goodness can be yours for just $29.99.

Growing up, I use to sit on my grandmothers old outdoor dining chairs and enjoy the fluttering of her flowers that looked just like these! They were so beautiful! These images are taking me back to my childhood, glad to see they’re coming back!
Here’s a high-art equivalent from California: http://www.sunbrothers.com/
Solar-powered rose/vine sculptures. Simply amazing.

Vienen en distintos modelos y colores: hay margaritas, girasoles, rosas; la autonomía de luz es de doce horas y cuestan entre 22 y 30 dólares. [...]
