S.O.S., or Spazio Open Source, is a permanent pavilion installation built with 100% reclaimed materials. The project was created to provide a space that could enliven and reactivate an abandoned public area located in Rome, Italy. During night-time, when the cultural center nearby is hosting events and gatherings, a special lighting system made using upcycled, spherical plastic beer kegs illuminates the pavilion to keep the space safe and enjoyable while creating a dream-like atmosphere to be reveled in.
