Designed by George Gardner Associates, the building is a large contemporary space surrounded by nature that offers a tranquil oasis within the bustling east side of London. Perfect for weddings, corporate end of year parties or other special events, the Ecology Pavilion is an idyllic shelter with strong sustainable values.
The Ecology Pavilion, the arts pavilion and the children’s center are three architecturally stunning, energy-efficient, green roofed buildings erected at Mile End Park. They are designed to promote sustainable values and they face a magnificent lake that is home to water lilies, moths, birds, and an increasing population of dragonflies. A 6.5 kw wind turbine sits on the lake’s center island, where it generates energy to circulate water around the swamp.
