The massive barrel organ features four unique scenes from the Star Wars saga, set on four different planets – the ice planet Hoth, the desert planet of Tatooine, the forest moon of Endor and the Death Star. [1]

As it spins, the LEGO bricks push mechanical sensors connected to a built-in keyboard. It is quite a canny marketing device, as it promotes both the movie and the merchandise at the same time. The barrel organ also features a QR code, which takes users to a website where LEGO sets can be ordered. Unfortunately, if you want to see it for yourself, you’ll have to go to Germany as it is being permanently installed at LEGOLAND Germany [2] later this year.

Watch the video below to see how it works (and sounds)!
