Great story and wonderful idea. The same could be done here since buying new is not cheap and yet having a form or reliable transportation that is an alternative to a car would be great. I love the fact that a local artist and other local people were used in the restoration of the bikes. This was a wonderful implementation of using local sources, green products and providing jobs for those in the community. It would be great if all ventures small or large would see how they can not only bring their goods to market but provide work for others in their community and build a local network of skilled workers and artist.
