Back in 1990 when i researched it in depth i concluded as well as 1% of the other scientists that we needed to cut emissions by 90% of 1990 levels worldwide right then. Now it's reduce emissions by a lesser amount to only allow what's acceptable to them as far as damages goes. One has to wonder what's acceptable to them. Apparently some species going extinct, millions starving to death and billions hungry is acceptable to them. Either cut emissions by 95% now which isn't going to happen or get into geo-engineering. Do you really think the world is going to reduce emissions?
