What better way to celebrate Independence Day than by ringing in the grand re-opening of Lady Liberty herself? The Statue of Liberty has been closed for months now after suffering severe damage at the hand of Hurricane Sandy, but the now the nation’s most famous symbol of freedom is ready to open her arms once again to the huddling masses. The famous statue and Liberty Island have undergone some serious repairs and are set to re-open tomorrow just in time for the 4th of July.
